Equipments for LNG

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is natural gas converted into liquid form and kept at -160 °C in cryogenic tanks, as other types of gas, such as liquid nitrogen or other technical gases. LNG has many advantages. When liquefied, natural gas reduces its volume by 600 times, it can be transported by tankers, and it allows the use of a more environmentally friendly and affordable fuel even in places that are not connected to natural gas pipelines. LNG has superior qualities compared to the natural gas of the pipelines, because it is composed for 99.9% by natural gas and combustible gas, whereas the natural gas from the pipelines can contain up to 15% of non-combustible gas.

It is the most environmentally friendly fuel after hydrogen. Natural gas is certainly the most environmentally friendly and widely available mineral fuel on the planet. Its reserves are expected to last for over 200 years.

It is very safe Its physical properties make it a very safe fuel. It has a high auto-ignition temperature (540 °C, whereas LPG’s is approximately 350 °C), and it is lighter than air, which means that it disperses easily in the event of a leak (LPG is much heavier than air; therefore, it tends to settle for long periods in ditches, pipes, and basements).

It can be used anywhere. As it can be transported by tankers, liquefied natural gas can be brought anywhere without having to connect to a pipeline. The supply principle is devised to solve any problem for those who use it.
