The PN10 insulating dielectric joints for utilities are installed in low pressure systems (10 Kg/cm2) for supplying gas/water to domestic utilities. Their function is to ensure electrical separation between the underground part of the pipe and the above-ground part in order to protect the part of the pipe downstream of the joint from any stray currents that could damage the pipe and encourage corrosion. The benefits of using the insulating joint are the reduction of maintenance costs and the guarantee of greater safety and efficiency of the system. In the MF (Male-Female) type both ends of the joint are threaded (conical male thread and cylindrical female thread). This feature makes the installation task easier and quicker. Insulating joints built and tested according to UNI-CIG 10284. Also suitable for use on water networks .
