Gas filter male inlet M20x1.5 outlet nut m20 x1.5 with double cup for easy manual draining steel filter

THE FILTER CAN BE REMOVED AND CLEANED WITH COMPRESSED AIR AND THEN BE REUSED

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1) Double cup filter for LPG systems. The filter features a touch-up valve and a built-in purge valve that allow you to safely drain oil/gas liquids while consuming gas in the installation process.

2) To drain gas/oil residues from the filter. Unscrew the bleed valve nut - turn it 5 times until the bleed port is visible. After 2 turns the internal check valve closes and seals the high pressure in the upper sump and gas system - if after 5 turns you see the opening, the high pressure volume in the lower sump is purged. Use a cloth to absorb the liquid oil that escapes.

3) Unscrew the lower cup with the wrench.

4) Empty and clean the lower sump from oil residues. Dispose of oil residues in accordance with current regulations. Attention, the contents have a characteristic smell of gas. Do not approach with open flames, cigarettes, etc. as gas residues are highly flammable.

5) After cleaning, reassemble in reverse order and add the lower cup to the filter unit, tighten with a wrench to ensure a perfect gas seal.

6) Tighten the bleed valve with the wrench, to seal the lower compartment. After 3 turns, the internal check valve opens to the upper sump and new oil can be drained into the lower sump. IGT recommends emptying the lower sump 1-2 times per year under normal use. If the gas quality is low, it may be necessary to drain more often. The upper filter unit can only be unscrewed after the gas system has been emptied. After unscrewing the upper cup with a wrench, the filter can be removed and cleaned with compressed air and then reused. We recommend that you entrust the cleaning to a professional workshop
